  • Should you suffer damage your windscreen and you have a comprehensive motor policy, you can claim for the repairs or replacement of the windscreen under your policy without it affecting your No Claims Bonus.

    Steps:

    1.     Report the damage to us via claims@capurroinsurance.com or by phoning +35020040850

    2.     Complete and return the claim form we provide you with, along with pictures of the damaged windscreen, another picture showing said windscreen that has the cars numberplate in frame and an estimate from the garage of your choice.

    3.     An independent surveyor will assess the damages and the costs, before approving repairs with the garage.

    4.     The garage will contact you to arrange a time and date for the repairs.

    5.     There is a £50.00 excess for windscreen claims, payable directly to the garage once repairs are done, upon collection.

  • Should your vehicle be involved in an accident that does not involve a third party and you have a comprehensive motor policy, you can claim for your own damages.

     Steps:

    1.     Report the claim to us via claims@capurroinsurance.com or by phoning 20040850

    2.     Complete and return the claim form we provide you with, along with a copy of the driving license of the person driving at the time and an estimate from the garage of your choice.

    3.     An independent surveyor will assess the damages and the costs, before approving repairs with the garage.

    4.     The garage will contact you to arrange a time and date for the repairs.

    5.     The excess listed in your policy schedule is payable directly to the garage once repairs are done, upon collection.

    Please note, own damage claims against your comprehensive motor policy will affect your No Claims Bonus at renewal (If protected no claims bonus, certain conditions apply).

2 | Gather the relevant information

To help us process your claim as quickly as possible, please have the following information ready:

  • Your policy number

  • A detailed description of the incident

  • Any supporting documents, such as photos, receipts, or witness statements

3 | Submit your claim

Once you have provided the required information, we will begin processing your claim and liaise directly with the insurance provider on your behalf.

Our house in Spain was broken into. Capurro Insurance immediately arranged for a loss adjuster to come round to examine the damage, estimate the costs of the repair works and value the items stolen.
